Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a Machine Operator to join our Paragould, AR team on the 2nd shift. You will follow process sheets, set up injection mold machines, inspect parts for quality, and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Must read and comprehend English instructions and log simple reports.
• Able to lift and handle heavy items and stand throughout shift.
• Able to follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Able to learn machining concepts and use measuring devices.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with supervisors to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from sheets or supervisor to meet output goals.
• Install machine fixtures and set up dies, punches, blades.
• Set up and operate plastic injection mold machines per specs.
• Inspect finished parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges for tolerance.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules including crane/buddy system.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
