Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear in Paragould, AR is seeking a Machine Operator to join our precision-focused manufacturing team. You will set up and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines according to process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions.

You will inspect operations, measure tolerances with calipers and gauges, and ensure quality parts meet spec. Responsibilities include following safety rules, maintaining a clean workstation, lifting heavy parts, and collaborating with

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to read English instructions.
• Physically able to lift and move heavy parts.
• Must follow timekeeping policies and shop rules.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions and tasks from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Install machine fixtures and secure dies, punches, blades, or fixtures for safe operation.
• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines per specs.
• Inspect operations and measure finished parts to verify tolerances using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear PPE, and keep work area clean; use crane or buddy system for heavy parts.
• Perform other duties in support of production as needed.
