Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, RF scanners, and other equipment.

The role requires adherence to OSHA standards and a willingness to work overtime when needed. Typical duties include loading/unloading, stacking and storing merchandise, picking orders, verifying accuracy, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, inspect for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label, wrap, pack as directed.
• Operate equipment safely to meet production standards and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory and cleaning tasks; may include forklift battery changes and other duties as assigned.
