Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a Finishing Equipment Operator to join a precision-focused manufacturing team. You will load, set up, and operate finishing equipment and various machinery, ensuring parts meet tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires attention to detail, steady work pace, and ability to follow process instructions while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. We value teamwork and reliable, consistent performance in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Requires average math skills and ability to read English instructions and logs.
• Physically able to lift, push, pull and position components.
• Must follow work hours and company policies.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or supervisor directions.
• Install machine fixtures and align dies, punches, or blades.
• Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, drills, presses, CNCs).
• Inspect finished products with calipers, micrometers, gauges to meet tolerances.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and comply with PPE and safety rules.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
