Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a manufacturing associate to perform preparation and finishing operations on work orders, including painting, boxing, broaching, and measuring materials to exact lengths. The role requires reading blueprints, using tools like calipers, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The starting hourly rate is at least $20.80, with increases after 90 days during the 18-month training period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Crane operation experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
• Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, or industrial technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull raw materials and stick stock according to work order specifications.
• Measure and cut materials to precise lengths using a cut-off saw.
• Verify material dimensions against technical prints and job requirements.
• Perform finishing operations such as painting, boxing, broaching, balancing, and key-seating.
• Ensure all tasks finishing meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area during and after finishing processes.
• Inspect materials and finished components for defects or deviations.
• Use measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify tolerances.
• Document inspection results and report inconsistencies to supervisors.
• Follow detailed instructions and blueprints to complete assigned work orders.
• Track progress and update job status in production systems as required.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and report equipment malfunctions.

Education
