Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Machinist I to produce precision components using CNC and manual machining equipment. You will set up machines, interpret blueprints, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances while collaborating with engineering, quality, and operations teams to optimize processes.

A Associate degree in Machine Technology or related field or 5+ years of machining experience is required; CNC programming and fixture design are a plus. Strong math and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in machining.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient math and tolerancing skills for precision parts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Set up machines, fixtures and tooling for accurate production.
• Interpret blueprints and specs to determine machining methods.
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds and perform first-piece inspections.
• Maintain tight tolerances and assist in process improvements.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
