Job summary

Integrated Power Services in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of rotating equipment. You will work with a dedicated team to restore equipment performance while delivering an unmatched customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps, can read precision instruments, and communicates technical findings clearly. A valid driver’s license and willingness to overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Reading precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer-facing communication.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to work overtime and weekends for on-call field service.
• Experience with PdMA testing or Level I Vibration Analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and alignment of AC/DC motors and equipment; perform laser alignments to OEM specs.
• Diagnose wear with precision tools and verify tolerances.
• Overhaul bearings, gearboxes, and critical components with specialized tooling.
• Perform diagnostics using portable equipment to ensure system reliability.
• Clean and prep electro-mechanical equipment using bead/blast and solvents.
• Work safely and collaboratively to achieve project goals.
