Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to lead on-site diagnostics, precision repairs, and overhauls of industrial rotating equipment. You will be responsible for mechanical alignment, precision assembly, and testing to ensure reliability.

The role requires hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps, with strong problem-solving and customer-facing communication. Flexibility for on-call, weekends, and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with rotating industrial equipment (AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps)
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with customers

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment; perform laser alignments and set gaps per OEM specs
• Conduct detailed mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Overhaul sleeves, bearings, gearboxes, and torque-critical components with specialized tooling
• Perform diagnostics with portable equipment (Megger, PDMA MCE, Multimeter) to ensure system reliability
• Maintain safety standards and collaborate with team to meet project goals
