Job summary

NEOTech in Los Angeles assembles electronic components and subassemblies on a production line using drawings, diagrams, and specifications. Work is performed under a magnified lens with small hand tools, soldering irons, and related equipment to build PCBs.

Required are IPC-A-610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 soldering experience, ESD compliance, and the ability to read instructions and inspect finished assemblies. Candidates must be US citizens due to ITAR/CUI rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience soldering per IPC-A-610 Class 3 and J-STD-001.
• Able to read assembly instructions, drawings and work instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and work under magnified lens.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly instructions and drawings.
• Identify hardware, wire assemblies, and components.
• Solder and assemble PCBs to IPC standards.
• Handle through-hole, SMT, BGA, and hybrids on FR4 PCBs.
• Use tweezers, calipers, and multimeters.
• Maintain ESD compliance and 6S standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
