Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking an Electronics Technician specialized in PCBA to contribute to the production of high-reliability electronic systems. You will perform manual soldering, precise component placement, and meticulous inspections to ensure circuit boards meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities include soldering on SMT and through-hole boards, following IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001, analyzing schematics, and supporting rework and reflow operations while maintaining QMS compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
• Familiar with IPC standards and component polarity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain J-STD-001 certification with Space Addendum.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise manual soldering and component installation on SMT and through-hole boards.
• Inspect assemblies with microscope per IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
• Analyze schematics and docs to guide assembly and rework.
• Provide touch-ups and support automated reflow to improve throughput.
• Maintain quality logs and defect documentation.
• Perform repairs and rework to achieve zero-defect output.
• Adhere to ESD and QMS protocols in a safe, organized workspace.

• Execute precise manual soldering and component installation on both SMT and through-hole printed circuit boards.
• Ensure assembly integrity by performing detailed microscope inspections in alignment with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
• Analyze engineering schematics and technical documentation to guide accurate assembly and rework processes.
• Optimize production throughput by providing expert touch-ups and supporting automated reflow operations.
• Maintain meticulous records of quality logs and defect documentation to uphold our high-reliability manufacturing standards.
• Perform necessary repairs and rework on electronic assemblies to ensure zero-defect output.
• Uphold a safe and organized workspace while adhering to strict ESD and QMS protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
• Proficiency in identifying components, understanding polarity, and applying IPC standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain J-STD-001 certification with Space Addendum.
• U.S. Citizenship status is required for project compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
