Polsinelli, a leading law firm, seeks a Docket Specialist to join our centralized docketing team in Houston. You will review pleadings, calculate deadlines, and maintain deadlines across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm protocols.

Requirements include 3–5 years in docketing or legal support, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Aderant CompuLaw, and strong attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of docketing or legal support experience in a law firm or legal services environment.
• College degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and docketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret pleadings to calculate deadlines per court rules.
• Enter and maintain deadlines in the centralized docketing system.
• Coordinate with attorneys and staff to ensure timely, accurate docketing.
• Perform quality-control reviews of docket entries and calculations.
