Job summary

Polsinelli is seeking a Docket Specialist to join our centralized docketing team in Denver, Colorado. This role focuses on reviewing pleadings, calculating deadlines, and maintaining deadlines in the firm’s docketing system with accuracy and timeliness.

You will collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff, perform QA checks, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while upholding Polsinelli’s commitment to quality and professional service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of docketing, legal support, or equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Aderant CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred.
• College degree and/or paralegal certification (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret pleadings, court orders, notices, and other legal documents to identify and calculate critical deadlines.
• Research and interpret Federal, State, and Local rules across multiple jurisdictions.
• Enter, update, and maintain deadlines in the firm’s docketing system.
• Perform quality-control reviews of docket entries and deadline calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on docketing processes.
• Assist Docketing team members as backup and provide additional support as needed.
• Interact with team to deliver high-quality, professional service.
• Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as requested.
