Job summary

Polsinelli, a leading national law firm, seeks a Docket Specialist to join our centralized docketing team in Atlanta. You will review pleadings, court orders, notices, and other documents to identify deadlines and ensure accurate calendar entries across multiple jurisdictions.

You will maintain deadlines in the docketing system, perform quality-control reviews, and collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of docketing or equivalent legal support experience in a law firm or legal services environment.
• Experience with Aderant/CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred.
• Paralegal certification or college degree preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret pleadings and other legal documents to identify deadlines per court rules and docketing protocols.
• Research and interpret Federal, State, and Local rules across jurisdictions.
• Enter and maintain deadlines in the central docketing system with quality control checks.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff on docketing processes.
• Provide backup support to the Docketing team and assist as needed.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
