Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator in a 3rd shift role. You will set up and run CNC Lathe machines, read blueprints, and apply GD&T while ensuring quality and efficiency in a non-climate-controlled shop.

The position offers an 8% premium on hourly wages and requires strong math and measurement skills, plus documentation and teamwork. Safety PPE and shift records are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Apply GD&T knowledge.
• Troubleshoot programs and adjust as needed.
• Follow in-process inspection protocols.
• Communicate with supervisors and quality personnel.

Responsabilités

• Set up production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines.
• Optimize setup times and maximize machine utilization.
• Read blueprints and route instructions.
• Apply GD&T expertise.
• Troubleshoot programs and adjust.
• Document issues and maintain shift records.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with superintendents, managers, and quality staff.
• Record daily shift documentation and preventive maintenance.
