You will set up and operate CNC lathes for turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling, and read blueprints to follow routing instructions. Ideal candidates have GD&T knowledge, basic math proficiency, and strong documentation habits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathe machines and performing turning, drilling, and live tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints and route instructions.
• GD&T knowledge and application.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines for turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling.
• Optimize setup times and improve productivity while maintaining offsets.
• Read blueprints and route instructions.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Troubleshoot programs and adjust as needed.
• Follow in-process inspection protocols and report non-conformances.
• Coordinate with supervisors, managers, and quality personnel to resolve issues.
• Wear PPE and maintain safety compliance.
• Document issues for smooth shift transitions.
• Perform daily machine maintenance checks and document findings.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
