Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to set up, operate, and adjust CNC milling equipment to produce high-precision components in line with engineering drawings and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, perform tooling and offset changes, and inspect parts using micrometers and calipers, maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Third shift availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints and tolerances.
• Experience handling precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, fixtures).
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components per drawings.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine changeovers.
• Inspect parts with precision instruments to ensure tolerance and surface finish.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust parameters to reduce scrap.
