Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for the 3rd shift to produce machined parts with high precision. The role requires setting up CNC machines, following engineering drawings, and maintaining strict quality standards.

You will perform tool changes, offsets, and routine maintenance while observing GMP/GDP practices. The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience required.
• Associates or apprenticeship in tooling/machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive work with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete documentation as required.
• Maintain safe working practices and 5S housekeeping.
• Record activities on the job tracking system and pursue improvements.
