Job summary

TECOMET is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce precision parts on CNC equipment. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and continuous improvement while meeting production goals.

The position requires third shift work and grinder experience, with a background in tooling and machining preferred. You will set up, program, and operate CNC machines, read engineering drawings, and use measuring tools to verify tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• Production environment experience preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive operations on various parts and metals with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and adjust for wear as needed.
• Ensure product quality by following OOQ standards and using measurement tools.
• Maintain equipment per PM schedule and perform hand finishing as needed.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
