Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a skilled ITD – CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills. You will develop fixtures and tooling processes, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet customer specifications with high precision.

The role requires experience with micrometers, calipers, and gages, plus basic math, geometry, and trigonometry. Expect an on-site schedule with overtime opportunities in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and samples to machine parts to customer specs.
• Basic math, geometry and trigonometry are critical for precision machining.
• Demonstrated use of micrometers, calipers and T-gauges in quality measurement.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Develop fixture placement and tooling processes for parts.
• Read prints and GD&T to machine parts to tolerance.
• Identify material types and select appropriate machining operations.
• Maintain clean work area and perform quality checks during runs.
