Qualifications

• Uses micrometers, calipers and gauges to verify part accuracy.
• Sets up and runs manual lathes and milling machines to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and part specifications.
• Select materials and determine machining methods and sequences.
• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines and other shop equipment.
• Perform precision machining to tight tolerances (up to .0001”).
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safety standards.
