Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2+ year CNC Tooling degree is preferred.
• Proficient reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Gibbs CAM) preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Interpret and analyze engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Program CNC machines using G-code, CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Gibbs CAM), or at the control.
• Set up CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment), including tooling, work holding, and offsets.
• Operate machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.
• Optimize programs and machining processes for efficiency, tool life, and quality.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and other team members to ensure production accuracy and timelines.
• Document setups and processes for repeatability.
