Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, sketches and samples to machine parts to spec.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers and gages is expected.
• Basic math, geometry and trigonometry skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate CNC machines and develop fixture placement and tooling processes.
• Read blueprints and CAD drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select materials, establish machining plans, and determine cutting speeds and feeds.
• Operate the mill or lathe with precision and verify parts with measuring tools.
• Maintain tidy work area and safety standards; assist with loading/unloading parts up to 50 lbs.
