Job summary

Randstad USA seeks an experienced CNC Machinist to join our production team in Ronkonkoma, NY. You will set up, operate, and maintain CNC mills and lathes to fabricate precision metal and plastic components, reading blueprints, performing first-piece inspections, and ensuring tight tolerances. Salary ranges from $57,000 to $73,000 per year, with a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T.
• First-piece and in-process inspection.
• Ability to setup and operate 3/4/5-axis CNC mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate 3/4/5-axis CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, installing tooling and loading programs.
• Blueprint Reading & Specs: Interpret drawings, GD&T callouts to guide machining.
• Troubleshooting & Adjustments: Adjust speeds/feeds, tool offsets, and codes to maintain precision.
• Quality Inspection: Perform first-piece, in-process and final inspections with precision measuring tools.
• Deburring & Finishing: Deburr and finish parts to specifications.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform routine maintenance and keep a safe shop floor.
• Documentation & Yield Logging: Maintain production logs and non-conformance reports in ERP.
