Job summary

A leading placement service is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for a direct-hire position in the Town of Islip, providing competitive pay and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience with CNC lathes, preferably with Mori Seiki, and be familiar with Fanuc controls. This is a permanent position, and candidates must demonstrate independent programming capabilities and the ability to operate and troubleshoot at the machine. Qualifications

• Perform additional shop duties as assigned.

Job Description

CNC Lathe Machinist needed on 1st shift at our manufacturing client near Ronkonkoma. Direct-hire position, not a temp, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

Requires a HS diploma or GED plus minimum 5 years' professional work with CNC lathes (Mori Seiki experience preferred) in a precision machining environment, knowledge of Fanuc controls, ability to set-up, operate, troubleshoot, edit programs at the machine. Independent programming capability (Mastercam, SolidWorks) a major plus. Additional shop duties may be assigned.
