Job summary

Moog Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an Assembler Technician I for 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm). You will perform precision assembly under supervision and maintain dimensional accuracy with dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers.

This onsite role reports to the Assembly and Test Supervisor in the Military Aircraft Group. The position requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic computer skills, and FAA safety clearance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; able to understand and follow English instructions.
• FAA Safety Sensitive position; must meet FAA drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Technical aptitude for mechanical tasks and reading blueprints.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems is a plus.
• Basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly.
• Follow standard procedures to meet daily objectives.
• Make mechanical adjustments per blueprint or specification limits.
• Use measuring equipment to verify assembly dimensions.
• Document parts used and work performed on data sheets.
