Job summary

Moog Military Aircraft Group in Torrance, CA is seeking an Assembler Technician I for the 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm). You will perform precision assembly under supervision, following documented procedures and ensuring parts are identified and routed correctly.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be proficient with basic English instructions; FAA safety requirements apply. Hands-on electrical systems experience and basic MS Office skills are a plus, with strict adherence to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand English work instructions.
• FAA Safety Sensitive position; must meet FAA testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly.
• Follow procedures to meet daily objectives.
• Adjust or align using shimming or mechanical adjustments.
• Use dial indicators, calipers and micrometers to verify assemblies.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy with torque wrenches and fixtures.
• Document parts replaced and work performed on data sheets.
