Oshkosh Corporation in North Carolina is seeking an assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from supervisors and group leaders. The role involves wiring, hydraulics, and mechanical assembly across JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual methods.

The position requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 35 lbs solo and up to 60 lbs with a team, and willingness to work overtime as needed in a manufacturing setting.

Competenze

• 6+ months of manufacturing or general labor experience.
• Willing to work overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular on-site attendance.

Mansioni

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Drill and tap holes for wires, hoses, and small components.
• Identify required options from schematics, blueprints, and Standard Work Instructions.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
• Crosstrain and work in multiple assembly areas as needed.
• Follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Maintain attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Keep a clean, safe work area in compliance with safety rules and 6S standards.
