Job summary

JLG Industries in Houston is seeking an assembler to safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions from Supervisors and Group Leaders. The role spans mechanical, electrical, and manual tasks across a range of products.

The responsibilities include wiring, hoses, hydraulics assembly, and installing accessories. You will operate an overhead crane, use power and hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area in line with 6S standards.

Qualifications

• Overtime availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and reliable on-site attendance.
• 6+ months of manufacturing or general labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics on JLG/Jerr-Dan products using power tools and manual techniques.
• Install product accessories such as decals, mud flaps, cameras, and lights.
• Safely operate an overhead crane to position parts.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools with accuracy.
• Measure accurately using tape measures.
• Lift and stack subassemblies and parts (up to 35 lbs solo; team lift up to 60 lbs).
