Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to precisely and safely apply agricultural crop production input products in field settings.

You will operate and maintain specialized application equipment, follow agronomic plans, and comply with safety and environmental regulations. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid CDL with required endorsements within six months, and pesticide licenses within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training is a plus.
• Obtain CDL with required endorsements within six months and maintain a clean driving record.
• All required federal/state pesticide licenses within the first six months.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards and agronomy practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain application equipment including sprayers and spreaders.
• Apply crop inputs according to agronomic plans and guidelines.
• Perform pre- and post-application inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Follow maps and instructions for precise product placement and rates.
• Monitor weather and field conditions to optimize timing.
• Keep accurate records of products used, rates, and areas treated.
• Coordinate schedules with customers and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to PPE and safety protocols and assist with inventory reporting.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as needed.
