Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to precisely apply crop protection products using specialized equipment in field conditions. You will follow agronomic plans, perform inspections, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma, CDL with HazMat/Tanker within six months, and pesticide licenses within six months. Experience with GPS-based tools and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• CDL with HazMat/Tanker endorsements within six months.
• Pesticide licenses required within six months.
• Experience operating agricultural machinery, especially sprayers/spreaders.
• Knowledge of agronomy and safety regulations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather and drive long hours.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain application equipment including sprayers and spreaders.
• Apply products per agronomic plans and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform pre- and post-application inspections for safety.
• Follow application maps to ensure precise rates.
• Monitor weather and field variables for timing.
• Maintain records of applications (products, rates, areas).
• Coordinate with customers, agronomists, and team on schedules.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Assist with inventory management and reporting of chemical usage.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment.
