Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to accurately apply crop production inputs using our specialized equipment in field conditions. You will follow agronomic recommendations, adhere to safety and environmental regulations, and maintain precise application records.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid CDL with endorsements, and pesticide licenses within six months. You will operate sprayers and spreaders, monitor weather and field variables, and work outdoors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• Valid CDL with required endorsements within six months of employment.
• All required federal/state pesticide licenses within first six months.
• Experience operating agricultural machinery, esp. sprayers/spreaders.
• Knowledge of agronomy practices, crop protection products, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain custom application equipment (sprayers, spreaders, etc.).
• Apply products per agronomic plans and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct pre- and post-application inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Follow maps/instructions for precise placement and rates.
• Monitor weather/field vars to time applications correctly.
• Maintain records of products used, rates, areas treated.
