Job summary

You will calibrate and maintain application equipment, record detailed data, and coordinate with the Location Manager and Crop Specialist to optimize field outcomes. Training and CDL requirements may apply as part of safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of crop protection input products, agronomy practices, and equipment operation is preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Mixes products and applies crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to rates and labels; records data.
• Maintain, repair, and rebuild facilities and rolling stock; safely operate equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Calibrate equipment to ensure accurate application rates; monitor field conditions.
• Maintain detailed records of crop applications; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver products to customers and manage inventory; process delivery tickets.
• Set up equipment for material handling, blending, storage, and application.
• Scout fields and report findings; collect soil samples as needed.
• Report sales leads to management; participate in training and safety programs.
