You will follow agronomic plans, perform pre- and post-application checks, and ensure accurate product placement while maintaining safety and environmental standards. This role requires a high school diploma, a CDL with endorsements within six months, and state licenses within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• CDL with required endorsements within six months and clean driving record.
• Pesticide licenses required within the first six months of employment.
• Experience operating sprayers/spreaders or similar ag equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of agronomy practices and safety regulations preferred.
• Willingness to drive long hours and work outdoors in various weather.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture technology is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and maintain safety protocols.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, plus integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain application equipment (sprayers, spreaders, etc.).
• Apply crop inputs per agronomic plans and guidelines.
• Perform pre- and post-application inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Follow maps and instructions for precise product placement and rates.
• Monitor weather and field conditions to determine timing and method of application.
• Maintain records of applications (products used, rates, areas treated).
• Coordinate with customers, agronomists, and team members on schedules.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE usage and safe chemical handling.
• Assist with inventory management and reporting of chemical usage.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as needed.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
