Job summary

Prairieland FS, Inc. is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver and apply crop protection inputs in field settings under supervision. The role requires precise work, knowledge of agronomy, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

You will calibrate and operate sprayers and other equipment, maintain records, and support sales leads while adhering to regulatory requirements. A high school diploma and familiarity with GPS or precision ag tech are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agronomy training a plus.
• Experience in agricultural application or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of crop protection inputs and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with GPS and precision agriculture tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mix and apply crop inputs to fields per labels and record data.
• Maintain, repair and rebuild farm facilities and application equipment.
• Calibrate equipment for accurate application rates.
• Record crop applications including product types, rates, locations, and weather.
• Deliver products to customers and generate sales leads.
• Manage inventory and submit daily crop records.
• Follow safety protocols and ongoing training to ensure safety.
