Job summary

Rinker Materials Career Center is seeking a Plant Manager to provide strategic leadership for our precast manufacturing operations. You will guide production planning, staffing, and daily activities to deliver cost-efficient results while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of plant management experience in precast concrete, strong communication, and a proven track record in Lean methods and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years leading a precast concrete plant or equivalent manufacturing operation.
• Strong communication and professional interaction with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning, staffing, and daily precast operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Track metrics, troubleshoot and resolve operational, maintenance, and quality issues.
• Lead continuous improvement, change management, and data-driven process enhancements.
• Analyze production data to identify efficiency gains and reduce defects.
• Ensure policy adherence, safety programs, and OSHA compliance.
• Motivate and develop staff, encourage autonomous teamwork, and succession planning.
• Maintain product quality through inspections and testing procedures.
