Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Plant Manager to provide overall leadership for precast manufacturing operations. You will oversee production planning, staffing, and day-to-day activities to run cost-effectively while meeting safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience managing a precast concrete manufacturing plant.
Strong communications and professional demeanor with internal/external relationships.
Knowledge of production management in concrete industry or equivalent.
Lean manufacturing techniques experience.
Ability to lead, inspire, and problem solve with the team.

Responsibilities

Oversee precast operations including production planning, staffing, and day-to-day management.
Track metrics, troubleshoot problems and minimize costs to prevent delays.
Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
Analyze production data to identify efficiency improvements and reduce defects.
Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
Motivate employees, lead by example, and empower autonomous work.
Develop training plans and succession strategies.
Ensure product quality through inspections and testing.
Administer safety program and OSHA compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
