Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Plant Manager to lead precast manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency across the plant. You will oversee planning, staffing, and daily production while tracking metrics and implementing best practices.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of plant management in precast/concrete, strong leadership, and robust knowledge of Lean methods, ERP systems, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience managing a precast concrete manufacturing plant.
• Strong written and verbal communications and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of production management in concrete industry or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team and drive cost-effective results.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP/database systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning, staffing, and day-to-day manufacturing operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Track and record metrics; troubleshoot operational issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify efficiency improvements and reduce defects.
• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Motivate employees and lead by example; empower autonomous work.
• Develop training plans and succession planning.
• Ensure product quality through inspections and testing procedures.
• Administer safety program and OSHA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
