Job summary

Rinker Materials Career Center is seeking a Plant Manager to provide overall leadership of precast manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, staff development, and adherence to OSHA standards.

You will oversee planning, staffing, and daily production, while monitoring metrics and implementing improvements to reduce defects and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience managing a precast concrete manufacturing plant.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and professional demeanor with internal and external relationships.
• Strong knowledge of production management in the concrete industry or equivalent.
• Lean manufacturing experience and ability to implement improvements.
• Proven leadership to direct, develop and inspire a team and drive goals cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production planning, staffing, and day-to-day manufacturing operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Track metrics, troubleshoot and resolve operational and maintenance problems to minimize costs and delays.
• Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Analyze production data to identify efficiencies and reduce defects.
• Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Motivate and coach employees, fostering collaboration and autonomy.
