Job summary

Rinker Materials is seeking a Plant Manager in Oakdale, PA to lead precast manufacturing operations, optimize production planning, drive safety, quality, and cost efficiency. You will mentor a team, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with company standards.

The role requires 5+ years managing a precast plant, strong leadership and data-driven decision making, and proficiency with ERP and MS Office. Travel is occasional; excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years experience managing a precast concrete manufacturing plant.
• Strong written and verbal communications and professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of production management in concrete industry or equivalent.
• Lean manufacturing experience and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee precast manufacturing operations including production planning, staffing and day-to-day condition.
• Track metrics, troubleshoot operational issues and minimize costs.
• Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce defects.
• Ensure safety programs and OSHA compliance.
• Develop training plans and succession planning.
• Ensure product quality through inspections and testing.
