Morgan & Morgan in Orlando seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney to join the Product Liability and Fire group. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 1+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience preferred.
• Ability to exercise sound legal judgment across a high-volume docket.
• Understanding of product-liability theories and causation analysis preferred, but not required.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with attorneys, investigators, and case staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Product Liability and Fire intakes and matters to assess product exposure, injury severity, causation viability, SOL, and jurisdictional considerations.
• Oversee pre-suit investigation activity, directing activity to gather facts and information to inform claim viability, analyzing causation issues, and identifying evidentiary gaps.
• Serve as the primary attorney point of contact for clients during the pre-suit phase and manage expectations.
• Prepare cases for transition to litigation by outlining key witnesses and partnering with litigation counsel.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and data integrity in firm systems.
