Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney in our Gainesville, Florida office. The attorney will handle pre-litigation work, guide clients through the case process, draft and file pre-litigation documents, and oversee settlement negotiations for personal injury matters, including motor vehicle cases.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar.
• 2+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Desire to become part of a trial team.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents.
• Complete TD approval for liability issues.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages.
• Manage the release approval process; lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
• Focus on personal injury cases, primarily motor vehicle matters.
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst the team.
• EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.
