Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney to join the Product Liability and Fire group in Orlando. The role centers on vetting, developing, and positioning cases for litigation, with responsibilities spanning case evaluation, investigation oversight, causation analysis, and client engagement.

The attorney will collaborate with attorneys, investigators, and staff to maximize case value and ensure readiness for filing. A J.D. and active license in at least one jurisdiction are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound legal judgment across a high-volume docket.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with attorneys, investigators, and case staff.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and screen pre-suit product liability and fire matters for exposure, injury, and jurisdiction.
• Oversee pre-suit investigation and medical review to inform claim viability.
• Guide causation and liability analysis; identify evidentiary gaps and weaknesses.
• Serve as primary attorney contact for clients during the pre-suit phase, managing expectations.
• Prepare cases for transition to litigation with a clear strategy and witnesses.
