Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect to guide customers in designing scalable systems using our data platform. The ideal candidate combines software architecture expertise with ability to articulate business value and drive multi-stakeholder consensus.

The role can be based in our Toronto office or remote in the Quebec region, requiring up to 25% travel and a strong background in distributed cloud/on-prem architectures and enterprise software solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of related experience in a customer facing role, with 5–7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
• Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#).
• Experience designing with scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
• Ability to review complex architecture and guide customers on improvements using technology.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for leadership audiences.
• Ability to align sales and technical resources to advance account plans.
• Travel up to 25% is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging the company data platform.
• Guide customers on architecture patterns and articulate business value to stakeholders.
• Partner with sales to drive account success through planning, qualification, and pipeline strategies.
• Lead technical discovery, demos, and proof of value efforts.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and share best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of product suite and industry trends through ongoing training.
