Job summary

Salesforce is seeking several Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join our Informatica Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team. You will partner with sales to align solutions to customer visions and perform technical discovery, demos, and proof of concepts to drive business outcomes.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Informatica's offerings, deliver workshops, and provide architectural recommendations while traveling

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in data integration, master data management, or data governance
• 5+ years of presales/technical sales, industry, or consulting experience
• Degree in Computer Science required (B.S., Master’s, or Ph.D.)

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer communications.
• Respond to RFI/RFP documents.
• Manage customer engagements without support.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to improve Informatica's products and marketing.
• Share best practices, content, and tips with the primary area of responsibility.
• Stay current on certification of services required for area of responsibility.
• Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities and workshops.
• Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun.
• Support demos at marketing events without support.
