Job summary

Salesforce is seeking several Pre-Sales Solution Engineers to join the Informatica Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team. You will partner with sales to align Informatica solutions to customer goals and deliver technical demonstrations, proofs of concept, and architectural guidance throughout the sales cycle.

You'll work with product management, engineering, and marketing to improve offerings, share best practices, and stay current on required certifications. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of data integration, MDM, or data governance experience.
• 5+ years in presales or technical sales, industry, or consulting.
• Experience with hybrid deployment of software, data warehousing, database, or BI concepts.
• Certifications in at least one cloud ecosystem and one data-related cloud technology preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science required.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to customer demos, including discovery, technical qualification, and presentations.
• Respond to RFI/RFP documents.
• Manage customer engagements with minimal support.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Informatica products.
• Share best practices and tips within the area of responsibility.
• Stay current on required service certifications.
• Partner with the CSM team on technical advisory and workshops.
• Provide customer feedback on product gaps using Vivun.
• Support demos at marketing events when needed.
