Job summary

CBX Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager in Austin, TX to drive strategic sales, build strong customer relationships, and expand backlog across CBX services including Networking, Security, AV, and related offerings. You will collaborate with Account Managers, attend project meetings, and leverage ConnectWise to manage time and expenses.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, 5 years in related work, and strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Strong Customer Relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sales strategy with assigned customers and work in conjunction with Account Managers – delivering the CBX story thus enjoying relationships that increase backlog growth.
• Assist in follow up on pending proposals.
• Maintain a presence in the field where we have work in progress. Attend project meetings thus assisting the PM’s execution.
• Using developed relationships, bring in opportunities to capture non-hard bid and negotiated project work.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers’ needs.
• Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
• Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as it occurs.
• Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on ConnectWise University.
• All other duties as assigned
