Job summary

Secureframe is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Defense & CMMC to act as a pre-sales technical and domain expert for customers in the defense industrial base. You will collaborate with Account Executives to assess readiness, define regulated environments, and design practical solutions with compelling demonstrations.

This remote US role requires credibility with security, IT, and executive stakeholders, navigating complex customer environments, and shaping a differentiated Defense and CMMC sales

Qualifications

• Experience in defense and CMMC sales engineering.
• Ability to translate complex compliance requirements into practical designs.
• Strong communication with security, IT, compliance and executives.
• Ability to build credible product demonstrations for regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, develop, and win Defense/CMMC opportunities with Account Executives.
• Lead technical discovery with security, IT, compliance, and operations.
• Identify CMMC requirements, contract drivers, and current readiness posture.
• Explain CMMC Level 1/2, NIST SP 800-171 expectations, SSP/POA&M workflows.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations linking product capabilities to customer needs.
• Collaborate with Implementation, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering.
