Job summary

Rise Technical in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an Application Engineer with pre-sales experience to support sales teams, deliver product demonstrations, and travel up to 50% to engage with customers and partners. You will test and troubleshoot applications, create compelling proofs-of-concept, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing to translate requirements into technical solutions.

A 3–5 year background in applications or pre-sales is expected, with RFID and enterprise

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
3–5 years of applications/pre-sales support experience.
Software programming experience.
Experience with RFID technologies.
Experience with enterprise networking, including Wireshark, wireless LAN, network security, vulnerability scanning, and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to sales teams and customers, responding to technical inquiries and helping develop solutions.
Understand customer requirements and design, develop, and present product demonstrations and proofs-of-concepts.
Test and troubleshoot products and applications, document findings, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
Maintain knowledge of competing technologies and support technical requirements throughout the sales process.
