Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks an Applications Engineer to bridge engineering and customer needs in RF/coax applications. You will work with sales and product teams to design solutions, provide technical support, and develop compelling demonstrations for customers.

You will travel extensively, up to 80% initially, to meet with clients, support proposals, and deliver presentations.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proven track record of managing customer relationships and delivering technical solutions.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 80% initially and ~60% after normalization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements for RF and data communications.
Provide technical expertise and support during pre-sales and post-sales activities, including design and accurate cost estimating.
Develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals to prospective and existing customers.
Customize and configure products to meet customer specifications.
Conduct product testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions and support to customers.
Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for customer needs and providing feedback for product improvement.
Stay up to date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance product offerings.
Assist in the development of technical documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
