Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Pre-Sales Architect to serve as a trusted technical advisor for national security and defense agencies. You will co-sell, architect, and evangelize Claude solutions that integrate into complex stacks, balancing safety and reliability with mission success.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to guide discovery, evaluation, and deployment, including hands-on content, demos, and architecture reviews across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5+ years in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
• Experience with large-scale cloud architectures and enterprise integrations
• Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Act as primary technical advisor throughout Claude adoption journey
• Support customers using Claude Code, Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise
• Create technical content for engineering to executive audiences
• Guide architectural decisions and integration into customer tech stacks
• Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude performance
• Travel to customer sites for workshops and deep dives
• Stay current on LLM capabilities and implementation patterns
